Bohos? The Spanish for owl is búho.

    • ‘Bohos’ is slang for members of the Bohemian Grove. They call themselves that, as well as ‘grovers’.

      • Wise says:

I realise that. I just thought that the connection was too obvious to have missed. Surely, not a coincidence, remembering that California did not come under American control until 1847, and a lot of Spanish would have necessarily still been spoken in San Francisco when the Club was formed? Also strange is the fact that the Bohemian Club was formed in 1872, the year James Gordon Bennett, Sr., died.

Which is more likely? That the Club was named after the birthplace of the Schlaraffia, or named for a corruption of the Spanish for owl?

        • Talk about ‘Bohemians’ or a bohemian lifestyle was all the rage in the decades preceding the formation of the Bohemian Club. The definition of ‘bohemianism’ literally is exactly what the early club was all about. I’d say naming it the ‘Bohemian Club’ because they were ‘bohemians’ at heart is more likely than either of your suggestions. They are tricksters as well, so the fact that ‘bohos’ and buho are similar sounding is good for a chuckle and a wink-wink.

The reason why I mentioned Schlaraffia at all is because most don’t even know they exist let alone that they too worship owls and appear to have been a model for inspiration.

Yes, the following Wiki segment summarises it quite well.
            http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bohemianism#American_bohemianism

However, it would appear that the founder members of the Bohemian Club were not actually Bohemians, as the term was understood then. It seems more likely that they were, then as now, the rich elite. Owl worshippers. I wonder if the choice of name didn’t have more to do with “Buhos” and good old-fashioned Illuminati hiding in plain sight.

I suspect that Bohemia, the former country, has more to do with the choice of name for the Club than does Bohemian, the artistic lifestyle. There are a few clues that make a case for further investigation by any self-respecting conspiracy theorist.

            1. Bohemia (rough eq. = Czech Republic) gave the world the dollar. There’s a little owl hidden on the One Dollar Bill, along with all the overt Masonic symbology.
            2. Bohemia, in the form of the Sudetenland, was the first territory taken by force by the occult Nazis. The rest of Czechoslovakia being the second.
            3. St Agnes of Bohemia was the first saint from a Soviet bloc country to be canonised by Pope John Paul II.
            4. Prague, capital of Bohemia, was ‘miraculously’ spared the destruction suffered by the rest of Europe during WW2. It suffered one bombing raid, by the US, towards the end of the war, in 1945, which was later said to have been the result of a navigational error. The Americans later expressed deep regret for the error.

So, what’s so special about Bohemia?

Meanwhile, the four last named Grandmasters of the Priory of Sion were all ‘artists’. All were closely connected with Bohemia, the movement.

  3. First of all the Priory of Sion is a fairy tale and there is no owl on the dollar bill – it’s akin to seeing a face on mars or a jesus cheeto.

The elite come and go, and while they’re here some have greater power than others; they fight amongst themselves and are just as inept and fallible as any other class. Groups come and go as well: the Illuminati has been dead and defunct since the mid 1790s.

Some things persist, however, and Freemasonry has proved quite resilient. They can still muster a revolution if they had to, and they still have a wide influence upon every town and city in the western hemisphere; they take oaths to protect their members and we the public do not get to see any membership list. Freemasonry is insidious to democracy – you don’t know who are masons among the prosecutors, judges, the criminals themselves, the police chiefs, the city council or business men. Guess what? I have Bohemian membership lists; I have all the Bilderberg lists and all of the CFR lists and nearly all of the Trilateral Commission lists. But no one – no one – has a list of something as simple as all the Masons in, say, his or her home town let alone the millions of them all over the world.

I’m from San Francisco and recently moved to San Diego, and wow, Freemason centers are just as popular as Starbucks stores down here. They’re on every corner. Do you just ask “how must I become a mason”, to become one?

    • Attendance at both Bohemian Grove and Bilderberg seems to go beyond it’s official Membership lists.

Thing about Masonry is the people who take their involvement in Masonry the most seriously are always well known to be Masons.

As a Christian it is for Spiritual reasons I consider involvement with the Masons, Skull and Bones and the Bohemian Grove an issue. Because where the member take those occult ritual seriously or not doesn’t change that doing them invites demons to posses them.

Many times I’ve seen brief clips of the Cremation of Care footage Alex Jones recorded in conspiracy related videos. But only once did I ever try to watch the whole video uncut, because the demonic vibes coming from it made me feel physically ill. That the country is ran by people who regularly choose to take part in that is deeply disturbing.
